Mack-Cali Signs Lease With General Re at Downtown Manhattan Property

EDISON, N.J., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI) today announced that General Reinsurance Corporation (Gen Re) has signed a new 21-year, eight-month, 56,106-square-foot lease at 125 Broad Street in Downtown Manhattan. The transaction represents a consolidation from two other Manhattan locations.

Gen Re, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is one of the world's leading reinsurers, operating through more than 45 offices in 26 countries.
